IMO
Image overprocessed.
Fence is too blurry. |

The post processing method or filter used do not give the shot justice. A well above 5 shot is IMHO below average due to your post processing. Keep up the good work though! |

I like your subject, but the bokeh is the fence, and it's supposed to be more of the focus in a fence challenge, even metaphorically as a border. I like all the texture in your shot. |

Over-processed to no end but a super great job and capture....I'd give it a 9 or 10 but the subject is not really the fence...that leaves an 8. |

Unusual processing technique. I like it. I do clearly see the fence in this even though the fence is not the primary subject. I am giving this one high marks. |

I really am not a fan of the editing on this photo. I would like to see the original because it seems like it could be a really great image. |

This is a very interesting photo. The man looks to have some interesting features and I'll bet he good tell a fine story or two. :D I like the bokeh working in the background fence (although some are going to have an issue with that being a secondary subject I think). I'm not real crazy about the approach you took with PP on this, just not my taste I guess - kind of ruined the shot for me personally. I do wish you luck in the challenge. Take care. |

You should contact GAP. They may be very interested! Nice shot. Interesting filter choice. I like the fence as a background texture, here. |

nice image but i feel the subject of the challenge has been relegated to the backdrop and the person takes all the space |

Human, 1 / Fence, 0. It's a wonderful portrait, and treatment - but, imo, it doesn't fit the Challenge. |

As in the "Free Study": What could have been a nice picture was ruined in post processing IMO. |

The facial expression is wonderful. Technically there is a fence there but it gets lost in the emotion of the image. The texture of the fabrics is a bit too grainy for my taste. I wonder if it would be softer in color?? |

I think the one you submitted for the Free Study this week is more effective. I rated that one a 10, and I offer this one an 8. |

Interesting portrait, but it's not saying 'fence'. |

I'm sorry to say that this would have been a nice photo if you hadn't over-editted it |
