post voting:

i was tempted throughout the week to delf-dq this due to very low score. it was at 5.2 all the way. But i liked this particular look. It's gorgeous and powerful when viewed in a larger scale. I wanted it to be in my portfolio even if most voters find it unreal. (i know, that's why I entitled it "surreal"). thanks for voting.

It was okay but didn't like the color choices and choppy cut out

Solarized looks a little over the top for me. Nice leading lines of the rocks out to the tree/bush (which is nicely centered BTW). The processing REALLY kills it for me. Good luck.

Assuming you broke no rules in your post process (and I vote assuming that) this is incredibly well done. I love the colors and light management. The whole picture is alive.
My first thought was ..if Moses had seen the burning bush at the beach, this is it. Cool.
Congratulations

could have been a nice composition, but the effect is just too overpowering, especially around the edges of the tree.

personally, I don't really care for the processing ... I like that you can still see details in the rocks ... and I like the composition

The solarized effect kinda worked against you in this case. Sorry...
