Way to go Judy!!!! I'm so glad this finished strong! You did such a great job on this! I'm glad those poor cows weren't really having to be out in that kind of weather :)

Well maybe it´s cause I have taken photos in a real blizzard several times and know what photos in them usually look like but this just screams "fake" to me when I opened the shot. I still like it though, don´t get me wrong and I really dig the composition. You probably know this though and while it doesn´t bother me, blwon highlights/white areas with little texture usually draws negative scores and comments here at DPC so if you are new, keep that in mind, people can be very anal about blown highlights here. 8 from me. |

Love it. At last a gritty shot that matches the challenge.
I'd lose the frame though and crop it to more 'panoramic' proportions to give the driving sleet more impact, as you can't see it on the snowy ground. |

I like that the animal is walking into the snow - this definitely has strong emotive qualities. |

though the lights are blown and crop at top is too tight to the trees it is a nice picture |

Like the inclusion of the rain/ snow - definitely makes me want to huddle inside in the warmth and dry. The white of the ground seems a little too white/ blown out but it's not a major issue. |

Fantastic....I just think your double border detracts from the image, which in itself has so much strength in its simplicity...? |

I like the border...snow is cool...I rarely see it. Is it real or did you 'make' it? Good job if so. |
