After seeing the results of the sky challenge and the entires by metatate and timfythetoo I thought I'd give this technique a go. This is from a 44 shot panorama from my front lawn. It's surprisingly easy to do so when the weather is a bit nicer I'll do this again and try to get something really nice.

Very nice job. I also foun dthat if you add a strip of negative space above your sky then the sky that you do have will get stretched out a bit further allowing you a square crop that will be all sky rather than the globe effect of the sky. That sounded like quite the ramble huh?
