I did this as a last minute thing the same night as the challenge. I did a lot from the original or for an "Advanced Editing", but did nothing what the "Expert Editing" allowed, due to time constraints.

I definitely agree, I could have done more post processing and adding photos from other pictures.

It was definetely a "Harsh Environment" for a tree, I was hoping it could get by on that.

Some outakes had railroad cars running in the background AM, Then I did an evening shot.

again, i think your score isn't reflective of the image, considering the special effects a lot of people put on theirs. however, i want to see more: more of the tree, more sky, and more of its surrounding environment. i guess it's hard to determine exactly how harsh this is. i don't mind the power lines through the moon, but they probably could have been removed easily.

i'd like to see the outtakes!

Sorry but I voted this a 4, mainly cause the subject matter isn´t interesting to me, the flare from the moon and the composition doesn´t do anything interesting for the subject.

on the edge? :) Pity you couldn't avoid the power lines. Good idea. ~6

It does seem a harsh environment for the tree.

I know the intent was good...but it's not really working for me...advanced editing...they offered us so much more then a snapshot.

Okay maybe I will be the first to say this because I know the reception this type of thing usually gets here but... I LOVE THE POWERLINES. I think they beautifully mirror the lines at the bottom - angles and repeating line patterns in both the top and bottom add interest for me.
