A friend of mine who’s name is also Brian, Did a photo shoot of his family, and cropped this from 1 of the images.

Photo is too dark and I think what you were trying to accomplish with the eyes was lost on me. Sorry.

On the whole, the image looks a little flat to me. I'd like to see the skin tones brightened a little (can be done using curves). I think a little more contrast would bring out some of the great texture in this image. The catchlights would be better up in the subject's irises rather than directly over his pupils. Interesting bokeh, but seeing as it is brighter than the subjects skin, my attention is drawn there even before the selectively coloured eyes.

On my monitor, it looks a little dark. Also, the selective coloring, this this case, looks a little odd, IMO. Maybe if it were a bit more subtle. Good luck!
