No, I don't know these are actually French hens, but they are hens. There were a ton of them out on a "farm" run by my county's park service, along with one very happy rooster. These two were in the process of chasing away the 3rd from the water bucket, so I imagined a reason.

They were in a pen with a fence and chickenwire and it was very tough to get a picture at all, never mind one with just 3 hens in it. Especially since they would all come running over to see if I had food. Had to use the zoom, which is less sharp, as the 50mm got too much wire in the pictures.

PP - cropped, curves, dodged and burnt hens to bring them out and erase wire blurs, cloned out distracting spots, resized, sharpened, curves to lighten everyone, burnt a little more to get one hen's eyeballs back

French hens are different. Lighten up, Claudine and Collette. [What I meant was that French hens had interesting tastes, like for you know partridges. - Sure, these are prolly Rhodies, but they can have fun too].

Good picture and funny title, but a bit of a stretch for the challenge.

Reminds me of when we would visit the Farm and the kids would all fight to collect the eggs. - 8
