Hiroshima is my second hometown. Freiburg in SW Germany being the first.
It is the city I know best of all places I have lived at and the whole topic of nuclear weapons, their destructive force and the suffering is present there, although only one aspect of this now prospering city.
Already affected through my husbands heritage, I hope that my children will not have the same experience as their grandfather in 1945.

Hi. Nothing personal, I really didn't recognize this location, still don't actually. Has this building been published internationally or something that I'm not aware of? From my perspective it looked like either something under construction, or a shell of a building left from a fire (guess I was fairly close on the second thought).
