Camera: Canon EOS-350D Rebel XT
Lens: Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
Location: North Hollywood, Ca
Date: Dec 4, 2006

Date Uploaded: Dec 30, 2006

USM, crop, desat portions slightly, healed minor distractions, neatimage

I am not really happy with the skin tones but it's like a guessing game because it keeps changing when I save it for the web. Oh well. I don't have the time.

I have fallen in love with her. Beautiful shot, will she marry me?

Lovely gal! Light is a tad harsh, but that's not a bad thing here; it seems to suit her personality (she's not harsh, but she seems spunky and lively, so harsh light seems appropriate. Gosh, I hope that made sense!

Not much to critique on this, it is very nice all around.

Nice portrait. I like the pose and the lighting. The glasses could go though.

This is a fantastic image. I have only two complaints. First, and what struck me most, was that the blacks on the cord on he rback as well as on the glasses seems unnaturally black. I would have liked to see some detail in the cord, or a large rectangular catchlight in her glasses because with the stark black background they look awkward. The other complaint is the green in the shadows along her right side (camera left) and also under the left part of her chin on her neck and her right shoulder. The coloring of the shadows can easily be altered to better match her skin tone and I feel that these imperfections take away from what is an otherwide flawless image. Great job, though. 8
