A house destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, 16 months later.

I hate the pole in front... oh well.

Steps:
1) 2 exposures from RAW.
2) Channel Mixer, separate channel for sky and ground
3) Curves
4) Dodge & Burn sky to bring out clouds
5) Remove powerline
6) Save for Web
7) Smart Sharpen

This is such a strong image. Very moving. The only thing that could be better, would be to have no pole in front of the house. I still think it is worth 10.

7 - Nice image. Good composition. Toning works well. The 'pole' not in the image.. but another picture and, well, pretty hard to move. Perhaps variation in angle to minimize, if not eliminate, who knows - your call anyway, obviously.

This looks like the type of house they might show on the HGTV and be like "well if we take a look at the monitor this house could look like this" and then the screen shows something that looks like Kobe Bryant might live in it.

Back to the voting. I think this is great, I think it strikes an emotional chord that will probably put it at the top. Perfect composition.
