A pea soup fog descended this morning, perfect for film noir photos. Had there been a breeze the wind chime and gong would have accentuated the otherwise still of the fog and the dark.

I can make out the ssilhouette, but ever so slightly. As it is now there's no real focal point. Would've liked it more if was brightened up a bit. Tricky submitting shots this dark. There's a chance it might look too dark on many of the voters' screens.

The content is great. I'm sure you've been told its too dark, and I think a longer exposure would have m,ade for the beautiful color that this is lacking.

whatever

This is so dark on my monitor I couldn't really see it properly. Even after adjusting the monitor, it was still very two-toned and not a strong image. Sorry.
01/09/2007 01:18:57 PM
Did you really mean to submit this?
01/09/2007 12:33:33 PM

The whole thing is so dark on my monitor that I can hardly see anything.

You had better hope that most people voting on this image have calibrated their monitors as it truly is dark. While I do like the image, I fear that your score might suffer.

Way to dark.

I'm sure you've received this comment already, but there is too little visible in your picture. Probably a good composition, but, better light, or longer exposure would have really helped.

Wow...this is way, way too dark. The silhouette effect I THINK you were going for here is only effective if I don't have to strain my eyes to make out the shapes. I have a picture I submitted a couple years ago that attempted something like this, and it wasn't effective, either.

Everyone has already told you - this is just too dark. I've checked it on more than one monitor; on one of them, I can make it out enough to say it's a great shot with lots of potential if you'd just give us a wee bit more light.

This is very, very dark on my computer. I went to check another monitor and I could make out the objects much better. Still could just be me, but it's very hard for me to see what's going on here....
