First entry, first challenge !

This photo was taken as a mirror reflection. I have my head just above my SB-600 Flash, which is positioned straight up.

Cropped with heavy shadows and minor contrast adjustment.

Well... to be honest this isn't the best shot - its a bit blown out, and the composition is too centred to create interest. But the stuff in your portfolio shows you've definately got potential, so I hope you don't get too put off by the low finish.

The exposure of this shot just doesn't sit well with me. To many of the subtle details are blown out.

Your highlights are too blown out. Maybe a tissue or handkerchief over the flashlight would diffuse it enough to keep the effect without the hot spots.

the hot spots are burned out and the image seems a bit blurred. However the haunting mood of the image is conveyed very well. keep working at it.
