photographically speaking, it's very nice...although it's almost too bright, it kinda burns my eyes. Also, I just don't get the reference.

Not getting the connection here. Sorry. I'd appreciate a PM explaining it, actually. I'm always interested to learn about other religions. Other than that, this is a nice photo of a crucifix.

I'm not sure how the title links to this picture or how this picture links to the 12 days of christmas at all.

Am I missing something?

Where is the Partridge?

Good high contrast

Interesting cross; it looks old, but that could be the grain. Lighting makes it look rather flat.

Great use of the actual history of the song, and i like the composition.

Anothe pic using the "obscured catechism mnemonic" interpretation of the song. This one at least leaves the viewer to make the connection from the image, which is good. And it's a competent enough composition.

I wonder, though, whether using a representation of Jesus being crucified (which leads me to think about Easter) is the best choice for an image about a Christmas song?

Not a partridge, nor a tree..
01/02/2007 11:00:21 AM
there is?
01/01/2007 09:32:51 PM
few will get this reference, eh? I'll give you a 7 for obscurity.

This will go over the heads of most who don't know the history of the song. Nice diagonal line.

what does this photo have to do with the song?

I'll bite. How does the title work for this photo?

Good detail.

Am I missing something? Where is the bird and where is the tree?
01/01/2007 03:38:45 AM
Yes! Glad some people are choosing the symbolic meanings.

Aside from over-interpreting the topic of the challenge, the photo is flat, grainy and needs some sort of background, in my opinion.
01/01/2007 01:05:30 AM
I don't get it. I like it as a photo, though.
