Well, I for one wouldn't know a french hen if it bit me in the face...or pecked me...or whatever it is they do!? Maybe eat wine and cheese and talk down to me? ; ) |

Just from the title I knew this was yours. :P I was gonna say so in comments, but didn't want to look dumb. Too late. :) Colour and reflection on the water is beautiful, the ripples very nice. |

i thought this might yours deb. nice image indeed, and great title! maybe a multiply layer to get some interest in the lower left corner? however, my favourite part of all is the leaf floating just under the surface. |

Great shot, but I've got to penalize you for the shoehorn. |

I don't care for the glare on the water. |

Ok, this one seems like a bit of a shoehorn into the challenge, but I love the red reflections in the ripples of the water here. They just add something unique to the shot. |

Oh so close...not. Kind of a big difference between a hen and a duck. At least we know you weren't confused. :) |

This looks borderline DNMC to me. Not gonna vote you down for THAT alone, but the shot looks oversharpened, not entirely focused, and the composition doesn't do it for me. Sorry! |
