This is a very adorable expression that this little girl has. The composition is excellent. In thumbnail view, this shot looks perfect. In the larger view, you can tell that there is some serious problem with the focus. My guess is you have some camera shake in this shot. 1/25 for exposure with a 70-300 lens, probably hand held with natural lighting. Not that I would recommend using the on-camera flash, as I think that generally ruins photos, but maybe using a higher ISO setting to help out with the shutter speed. |

What a sweet face! I know it can be difficult to keep still at this age..slightly blurred, cute anyway! |

I'm not sure... it looks more out of focus than soft focus. |

Perhaps some post processing sharpening would help out. Good composition. |

This looks either out of focus or like the shutter speed was too low and you got some bad camera shake. I do like the crop, how her hair really frames her face. The lighting is nice and soft and directional, too. Too bad about the blur. 5 form me. |

Too soft a focus. Priceless expression. |

Cute expression. It would have been even better if you had cloned out the piece of hair over her right eye. |

Adorable girl but the shot seems a bit OOF and the line (hair?) across her eye is bothersome |

I personally think this needs to be much sharper for this style of portrait. |
