Thanks to Robynne for the time and effort.

* Softbox 30 degrees to camera left. Centre at eye-level. Key light.
* Silver umbrella camera left very high to create shadowed eyes
* Shoot through translucent umbrella to camera right as fill light.

* Sharpen
* Spot edit for skin imperfections and other little issues
* A softlight layer for a little Dodge & Burn
* Levels
* Hue / Saturation layer to enhance lips and reds in hair
* Hue / Saturation layer to destaurate reds and yellows and boost blues and cyans
* A copy of the red channel as a layer set to Hard Light mode

I think some additional lighting to eliminate the shadow on her eyes would help. Good pose and outfit though.

Might have better with a different color BG. The hat band disappears into the white. better yet, lose the hat completely, she's cute enough not to need it.

This is nice. I think it could be improved if you could have lit under the hat a bit to get the darkness out of her eyes just a bit. Or go the other way and make it more mysterious with darker shading.

I like the picture from the wrist up. She has a pretty smile very relaxed. Also with the hat being b&w a pink background I think would make it "pop," as well as add a touch more feminine touch.
