I like the interesting composition, but the photo is too gray. A curves adjustment to set the 'white point' somewhere on the bird would cure this. Also, applying 'unsharp mask' would make the image sharper. Cheers

Beautiful composition, but there seems to be a dark colorcast over this. Perhaps editing the exposure/highlights/and shadows may increase this. 7

Good interpretation of animal photo rule. If animal doesn't do anything spectacular, make a close up photo. It always works 7
