Accidental shot, lol. I took a test shot to make sure the setup looked OK and the studio flash fired, major overexposure! Turned out to be the best of the lot.

String is on a sheet of glass to give the slight reflection. Shot with my Canon 28-105mm USM II @ 28mm with a +4 diopter closeup lens.

Not very long with that tiny little ball! The white on white is okay on this shot, a bit blown out on the right, perhaps if you had string coming in from one side and leading out the other with the ball in the middle, filling the middle of the screen it would convey the message more? A 4

I like the high key effect. Nice composition. Good focus. Nice DOF. I like the interpretation of the challenge - clever. Good editing. Well done.

Too much light in this one. Perhaps you were trying to hide the end of the string in the white background, but I don't think it helps the photo.

I like the high key approach you took. The missing information is equally as important as the provided information in answering your question. Nit, more contrast to bring out how well focused the shot is.

Interesting concept for infinity...I agree it fits well as does the high key lighting. I like how you've composed the string winding into the foreground and off to the background on the right. The way the string ball is wound adds an interesting texture to the image. Nice shot!

some may not like the brightness of this but i think it's just what this shot needed. nice move making it fade away in the back. 8.

a little hint of color would look nice. I love the simpleness of this shot

Very nice. For some reason this reminds me of that little round cartoon guy on tv for some antidepresion medecine, zoloft maybe. I can picture this string guy jumping around all cheerfuly. Who knows, maybe it's just me. Excellent high-key.

a tad overesposed i think - i can't really see the upper left corner of the ball for the white wall behind it. nice idea, though.
