This is my first entry at dpchallenge.
I chose this picture because of the multiple fences in the field of view: foreground, sides, rear and even on the house. Lots of interesting objects in the yard remind me of 1950's style. I cropped this picture into a square and changed it to black and white to increase the sense of history.

Great concept, composition could be improved though.

Needs more focus on the fences themselves - the way it's shot it's a picture of the courtyard instead. Maybe try focusing on the interesting ironwork of the first fence and using it to frame the second fence instead?

I don't really like how the fence in front is out of focus, I feel that it gets in the way

I love this "busy" kind of photo! So many little details to make it interesting.

Your foreground fence is blurry; your rearground fence lacks punch. I understand your concept, but this seems poorly executed.

I do see lots of fences here but no focal point.

foreground out of focus and distracting, composition too random, sorry
