Take a slinky, hang it from your camera on tripod, point lens straight down the center, play with lights, play with lights, play with lights, play with lights, play with lights, play with lights, shoot, download to photoshop, autolevel, crop, resize, usm, usm, usm, usm, contrast/brightness, travel through the wormhole... |

Interesting, the slinky made for a good subject here. I would say you definately fit the challenge with this as it appears to go on and on. I realize you were using a very limited dof but at the same time that left you with just not enough in excellent focus. You are blurry on the outside and in the center, I'm sure that hurt you in the voting.
You definately met the challenge. |

Good focus. Nice DOF. Shame about the chromatics. |

Definitely fits the challenge, looks very science fiction-y. I like the contrast between crisp curving lines and then the blurred black hole. Is this a spring? Or maybe one of those wire whisks? Lighting is great. Well done! 8 |

This works! Neat shot. I do wish the focus was a bit better. Over all I like this one. Good entry. |

Great three-dimensional effect. What is it? |

Very cool idea...however I think the image would be stronger if the center of the image were sharper, the blurring in the middle takes away from the rest of the image in my opinion. |
