| Surreal :-) I see the connection between the red insulator, the horse and the barn, but perhaps the horse and barn overwhelm the fence? |

| The content and quality of the exposure here is great. The color editing seems way harsh to me. The horse looks unnaturally red and I would like to see some color in the sky. |

| hmmm. I really like this photo, but wished the horse was a more neutral tone to really emphasize the building in background and lend a more realism to the photo. I think now after looking at the title maybe you were trying to go for that look, but I still stand by my original comment. :) Nice job though! |

| The picture itself is lovely but the horse seems a little too red as does the barn. I feel the barn should have been left to look old. |

| I think you pushed your reds up too high. (probably trying to bring the red back into the barn?) It unfortunately effected the horse too, and there's an unnatural glow on her underside and neck. |

| The horse seems to be glowing... possibly due to over saturation. You may wish to tweak this image a tad as it certainly has potential. |

| I like the composition very much, but the neon red-orange horse is a little too unreal for me. Choosing to desat the insulator handle may not have been a good choice, it looks like it's coming out of the horse's head, I do realize the tie in with your title. The fence is "there" but this says "country scene" more than anything else. |

| As the fence is almost invisible in the shot making it more about the horse and the barn I feel the challenge connection is very weak. |
