love the DOF. the abstract-ness of it makes it interesting :) |

Awesome idea, I think maby a bit more DOF would help though! |

I like the idea, but I am a little lost on what it is. A train? I think a little more focus would still have driven the point home, maybe more interesting too. |

It took me awhile to figure out what this was. |

I assume those are train tracks? I'm not really sure I get what you're trying to do here with the DOF or the subject matter. What is in focus just doesn't seem interesting to me. On the positive, I do like the way you composed the elements into the frame. I think it works well centered. |

A greater deep of field would have been better IMO. |

I'm staring and staring. I keep waiting to vote on this one because I can't decide what I think of it. I think I've figured it out, but I'm still pondering the excess blur on the train as well as the tracks up close. I guess I like it. The colors and balance are superlative and the subject is well centered although I wasn't sure what the subject was for a while. Gotta move on so I'll vote now. Nice job. |

The center object is fading away since it's so dark. Anotherwise it's a cool wide photo. |

This is very confusing and almost totally out of focus. I am not sure what I'm looking at. I think a greater depth of field would really help this. |

I can see where this is centered, but the out of focus of the rest of the picture just kind of detracts my vision of the focal point which.....to be honest, really doesn't seem like much to be focused on. I do "get" where you were trying to go with this, but it just doesn't work for me, personally. |

DOF is very shallow, center is too dark to catch attention |

I'd like to see more of your subject in focus. |

first glance seems too abstract... takes long enough to realise what it is... then suddenly it makes sense :) Hope that train wasn't moving - could be a dangerous place to leave your camera! |
