I don't know how I caught 'This'(the fish) singing but, stuff happens I guess, and I caught it all on film. I tried to capture him again with a black background as I thought I might do a bit more with the photo, but I couldn't replicate the shot. I did not set this shot up. I just happened to be there when he decided to show off, and when I tried to set up a real shot, he wasn't singing. I switched from Tiff, cropped, layers-color balance.

Thanks to everyone who voted and left comments! I hadn't noticed the 'green stuff' below This, the fish. Thanks for pointing that out. I was so involved with taking out 'other' distractions (see original //www.dpchallenge.com/profile.php). I don't yet know how to change a good composition into a great photo. I would welcome comments and tips on how I 'could' have treated this photo. I couldn't visualize it any way but 'green'. Didn't know how to get more color without more noise. How does one fix 'flat'? Thanks for those tips! A bit about the fish. His name is 'This' and he's the most awesome fish I have ever owned. He loves to be petted and if he had the means, he would follow me around the house. He is more interested in what is outside the tank than inside. He keeps his eye on us.

I like. Funny song too. Alot of these are too serious, I really enjoy the sense of humor thrown in.

LOL - good caption. I know you may not have been able to do much about it, but the green stuff is a distraction, mostly because it hangs to the left and below the back tail of the fish.
