| This is a very fine shot, the lighting, composition and colors are very pleasing. But for this challenge the composition isn't optimal. The plate is centered as is the group of tangerines but the focal point leads us astray. If the cut in half tangerine was in the middle of the shot then I would think this would've scored better for this particular challenge. But out of challenge this shot works really well. |

Olá Jorge,
I think that maybe this image is just too subtle (or should I say "sober") for the average DPC voter. Voters tend to go for images with "wow" factor, I guess (even when technically lacking). This picture is technically flawless, has great colours and sharpness. Underscored? Absolutely.

| As Lynn said below. Above the left tangerine there is a blip too. But it is a nicely competent photo that bespeaks fresh fruit and makes exotic the fairly ordinary. |

| I think the contrast of colors and your lighting are both terrific. Maybe voters thought this wasn't centered enough. And perhaps there were too many pieces of fruit on the plate? |

| Nice lighting. I like that it is so directional. It really rbings out the texture of the orange peels and avoids too much glare. |
