Give me an animal, a person, a doll, something with a face. :-(
As far as the image goes I do like it. Nice B&W tones, compositionally interesting (to me).
I hate to say this, but doesn't meet the challenge. |

| There's an awful lot to distract the eye here. You have good density which actually makes it harder to concentrate in the interesting parts of the photo. |

| Not sure I'd call this a portrait. I find myself wanting to look closer to get the detail and texture of the wood. |

| Sorry...I've looked at this one a couple times now and even with the wide berth for interpretive submissions, this one just DNMC for me because it's neither in portrait orientation nor does it focus on a living subject (the title even says so). The photo is decently executed; it just cannot score well for me relative to the others in this challenge with so many superb submissions. |
