The light catching the left eye and cheek spoil it a bit. A little more rotation so that the left side of the face is completely in shadow would make the most of it. |

This would have been a nice (thouh not very special) picture if the boy had either turned his head toward you or away from you. In this position however, a small strip of light falls on the dark side of his face, thus seriously distorting the overall view and in fact ruining the picture. |

I like the lighting actually. It gives an interesting sense mystery to your subject. |

Turn the head away from the light to shade the rest of the eye and cheek. |
