| A cool carving of the pumpkin, but there is too much dark space for my taste. I'd like to see more of the pumpkin and less of the surroundings. A good idea for the challenge. |

| Slightly burry but you can see what it is suppose to represent. I like how it also shows the outline and not just the inner features. The gradient of red/yellow in the carvings is good also. It seems a little lost in the black, tho, and I think having a cloer-up shot that fills the frame would probably have been more effective. |

| god i love strongbad.. but what is this.. if you look at it the way i am seeing it.. the angled slits near the top look like eyes.. the broad middle top is a nose.. and the half crescents on either side are cheekbones.. you can see a mean lower lip sticking out and a very defined chin underneath.. this looks nothing at all like strongbad. but kudos just the same :) this hooded ninja is all the better. |

| I like the concept you were going for but the end result really doesn't appeal to me, just too fuzzy, too much contrast on the colors though the outline is very good. A 6 to start |

| Nice idea. Good lighting effect. You might want to sharpen in photoshop it looks a little out of focus. Also you might want to try moving the subject over a little bit to the right to use rule of 3rds. 5. |
