Challenge: Song Titles, 2006 (Advanced Editing V*)
Camera: Kodak P880
Location: Dayton, TN My parent's burned out slaughterhouse
Date: Jan 3, 2007
Aperture: 1:3.6
ISO: preset
Shutter: 1/20s
Galleries: Black and White, Children
Date Uploaded: Jan 6, 2007

I shot this in black and white. That is my son in the photograph and yes, his eyes, when shot in B&W are almost devoid of color. I did some dodge/burn, applied curves, adjusted hue/sat, cropped and resized for challenge. Not a lot needed to be done to best show what I was going for :D

Really cool shot. I like the B&w and the stark contrast. Really fits the title well. I gave this a 7.

Cool idea... the blacks could be more black but a good shot 6

Nice representation of crazy. Not sure what the bicycle rim is there for (other than to lead the eye away from the strong subject...). Nice tones. What would have made it superb was if the angles/lines/composition had been a bit crazier to complement the overall theme. Good anyway.

I would suggest getting rid of most of that busy stuff on the left? ... Maybe crop it on the left half way between the top of the head and the corner? ... Otherwise I like it. 7

Poor kiddo, is that blush on his cheeks? Um, anyway, great shot, like the feel from the garbage all around, sunglass make me want to know what is going on in there.

Very edgy. It is hard to separate the photo from the subject in order to rate it. 6.

This is interesting. Maybe taking the rule of thirds into consideration might help the composition you have, but still, I like it.

Awesome! ...but you shoulda got rid of the bicycle wheel - it adds nothing and actually dtracts from the concept.
