Well, it met the challenge - the title fits. But it's a poor photo. The background is horribly distracting, and appears to have no relevance to the photo (would have been interesting if that had been Justin Timberlake on screen). The white balance is off, so the skin's all orange (not that white balance would be easy with a TV in the background). And it's not quite sharp, which I suspect is from a slow shutter speed or camera shake. If you've got willing models, that's always half the battle won. Try harder next time.

Could have been a cool shot without the distraction of the TV.

Good shot, but the tv being on is pretty distracting, this would have been a good one to reshoot with a simpler background.

IMHO the TV shouldn't be turned on ... distracts me from the image ...

I don't understand how the TV in the background adds to the image.

This feels kind of like an afterthought, or "honey, don't move...let me get the camera". It's the TV image I think that's giving it that feel IMO. The primary subject, the "back" isn't quite in focus. All JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.

I'm not clear on the story line here. Why the gun? whats on TV ? what's the dark area to her right?

I like the model but the background and the TV image draws all attention away from the subject.

I find the TV distracting.. maybe a less busy background would have worked better?

I'm not sure the TV in the back ground works (although I see where you might be going with it)
The skirt and the gun lack contrast... you hardly notice the gun

I agree that the woman pictured may have a 'sexyback', however, there are many things that detract from this:

(a)The harsh incandescent lighting casts an unhealthy glow to your subject's skin, and is unflattering - please consider using the 'indoor' or incandescent setting on your camera. (b) Unless the young woman onscreen is also the person standing before the television, then the TV being on serves only as a distraction - try using a more bland background, with distance between it and your subject. (c) The handgun is fine as a prop, but is too small and mostly goes unnoticed; maybe a 'portrait' crop would work better (d) PLEASE don't stop trying! I know that with just a little more work, this would look terrific - you have a great subject - win her over with your adoration!! ;)

Does the subject on the TV have something to do with the shot? It is otherwise very distracting.
