 My daily readings just happened to be speaking of procrastination. What a coincidence.

Well, this was an interesting lesson. The challenge was interpreted in many ways. I took it to mean that we should submit what we had procrastinated in doing over the last year. For me that was meditation and prayer. In retrospect, there were two main photographic faults with this,and possibly one social. There was a strong color tone from an incandescent light which I didn't have the PP skills to remove, and two, I was slightly OOF due to running back and forth to my position after pressing the timed shutter. The third fault was perhaps the religious theme which may be objectionable to some. So be it. DP challenges are good discipline and good lessons, spurring us on to improve. Thanks for the comments.

I've come back to this several times without commenting. It finally hit me - this looks like Frank Langella. Has anyone ever told you that?

I like the duotone treatment. It suits the meditative, simple emotion of this shot.

More quiet contemplation that procrastination, but variation off-theme seems to be all the fashion here. Good shot otherwise, I like the hourglass shape of head and hands, but more sharpness in the face area wouldn't hurt.

I'm getting a different vibe than procrastination from this shot.

Spirituality, prayer, meditation, yes, procrstination, no

It also seems too soft.....I can't decide if it's OOF, so it kinda makes me twitch.
