painted feet, trust me they tickled, and a flower brought to me by my boyfriend. i think it may end up being not enough of a portrait, but i personally really like it. i'm also kind of concerned about the color i do have in it, but like before, we'll see

I'm having a hard time seeing how this is a portrait. and typically I dont like the colour / desat mix in photos.. thats just me and my preference.. sorry

What an original idea! I like this a lot. The white half of the vase seems a little overexposed, though. 6.

Good shot, I just have trouble with this definition of a "portrait". Might win an OOBIE, don't know.

I'm sure people got on you about the color. But I like the concept and I understand that you had to have the flowers pop out to really emphasize the vase. I would like to have seen a little more crop off the top.

Thinking outside the box is good, but for me the execution hasn't lived up to the concept. In particular, the focus needed to be much crisper.

I like the idea, the selective desat in my imo takes this shot out the the competion. 4

How would this look with some cropping from the top down to enhance the prominence of the black-white-yellow?

DNMC for me...a portrait? a pictorial representation of a person usually showing the face

Hmmm....this one is a real stretch on the challenge topic. I'm going to rate as though it's a valid interpretation, though. I don't like the hue of the colors in the flowers, and I think some saturation of that range of colors would greatly enhance this shot.

Personally I can't give layer masked desaturation a high score. Sorry.

The painted feet look great. Wish the whole pic was B&W though

Sorry..I'm just not buying it. Still like yes. Portrait no. Also the challenge is black and white. Not black and white and yellow.

Interesting idea but not really a portrait also I don't like the flowers in colour
