Had natural light from the window on the left side, no flash. Don't own any photography lights, lol.

From the Critique Club

How are you doing today? I am going to touch on a few items with your image.

Colour;
This image has mostly grays, with a peek of rust colour on the chpped edges of the wieght. There is also a touch of blue in the light which makes me think this was done with natural lighting.

DOF/Focus;
I think the DOF is find for this image. However, the focus to me seems a bit soft. Personaly I would like to see the focus a bit sharper, and that can be done by adding a touch more contrast between the lights and darks of the image. Or with Unsharp Mask tools.

Post;
This image does look straight from the camera. I think it would have added this image to give it a couple tweeks in an editor program. A bit adjustments with black levels and contrasts mostly. Also, this might have worked well as a Black/White image. You might try that and adjust the levels a bit to get a really dynamic POP! out of the numbers.

Off Items;
The image does seem a bit flat, and also a bit soft in focus. fixes are like I said above.

Other;
I do think this is a good idea, and I like this composition. If you have any questions about my comments feel free to message me.

Nice Job

needs more contrast, but it's a good idea.

Nice perspective on this - might have cropped it a little differently. 5
