I like this idea, but the lack of contrast is hurting the image.

If the right side was focussed also, I might have liked this bizarre diptych (sp?) better. - 6

I don't get the point of the split image here, and to my opinion, it adds nothing to the photo. Furthermore, I think the photo is too gray.

Would've liked the right hand panel to be IF and from a different angle.

Alright, something different in portraits!

The two frames doesn't work for me.
01/11/2007 09:46:23 AM
is it a legal frame?
nice conception

is this allowed ??

Even if it doesn't break the rules it doesn't work.

This is more than one photograph

Unnecessary editing.

Sorry, but this perspective just doesn't work for me. I think I would have liked it far better with just the left panel.

No fond of the gimmicky use of camera.

too dark

Suspect you're going to get criticised for the diptych composition...not by me though: I can't wait for a challenge in this genre. I just think the right hand picture doesn't do anything for the composition...it doesn't contribute in any way.

I will comment here before this most likely gets dqed. I like the dyptich setup and its an interesting pose. The b&w conversion is done well also. Look slike you have a little bit of halo action going on around your border. It might have been intentional but it look smore like you did a big final sharpen after you had completed your stroke. I try to do my stroke the final thing to prevent the USM halo effect. Again - this is an interesting image - the contrast of the sides focus is a good take. I am gonna vote a 7 on this and hope that it is still around come the end of the week when I do my final bump ups.
