 Me in the hallway. =)

- Crop, add desaturation layer
- Small touch-ups with stray hairs, etc.
- Blur wall texture (on left)
- Lighten eyes
- Mask hair, add soft glow
- Sharpen whole image
- Sharpen selectively eyes, mouth line, chin line, hair, shirt
- Resize, final sharpening, soft glow

i like this. you're actually smiling in a B&W picture! the rest are all pretentiously emo. and you named it curly mess, which is also awesome.

Classic focal length for no distortion, good lighting with only slight shadow (appears to be single light source?) but it really feels flat. Need some front to back depth somehow. Maybe too close to the background.

I like the slight from above angle. Whoa, the left eye has my attention. The face is displace to the right of center-good idea- and that places that left eye dead center. So that plus its distinct draker tone , give a unique feel.
