I think it is fairly nice. the candle is a bit over powering for me, but its fun, a nice start I look forward to seeing more. |

Isn't it fun? Now you got your feet wet.
I'd play with lighting a bit, but you'll get the hang of it. WELCOME! |

How dare he run you out of the studio! That sounds like grounds for a bootay kickin'. :) This is very nice Glenda, very introspective. I look forward to seeing the rest. :) |

Nice and soft, with that glow on the wall making it all the better. |

I was gonna say "Who's Billy?" but a quick investigation of your profile and I figgerd it out. :) Welcome! That's a nice shot of a huge candle! ...oh, wait - I think I see you in the back there also. ;-) Just yankin. Hang in there! This 30 day thing is one of the best exercises on the site for practicing and improving. Say hi to Billy for me. And tell him don't be a hero. - just thought I'd throw that out there as the song just popped in my head. Ok - enough - looking forward to seeing your progress over the 30 days! :D |

cool! i've tried this candle-lit portrait idea before as well. did you have some other lighting as well? it seems like it would've been uber-cool if the candle was the sole use for lighting in the shot! |

Nicely done. I like the coloring, quite emotive. Hard to get good lighting with the candle, but you did fine. |
