Excellent attempt for a first challenge. Very artful and well thought out. I think you're right, the person and bright spot on the right side needs to be dropped out. If I were taking the same subject, I would actually have gone the opposite direction, dropped the ISO as low as it would go, closed down the aperture, and gone for an even longer exposure (on a tripod, of course). This is assuming that you are have a model that you can get to stand in the corner and stay still for the full length of the exposure. |

This is quite compelling. I am back to bump it. I fear it's not WOW enough for the usual crowd, but in my book it's very tautly put together and extraordinarily metaphorical. It would display to great advantage as a large print I imagine. Love the truncated foreground and right edge figures. |

I'm not sure what's going on in this picture. There is the guy facing the corner then the person on the left moving throught the photo and just an arm on the right of another person facing the wall. I'm not sure you accomplished what you set out to do. Either that, or I just don't get it. Sorry. |

Since I don't know the song, I can only rate the image as I see it. I find the focus to be poor. The highlights on the right are blown, the partial subject on the right is distracting. |

Nice image - I just find the person on the right should have been cropped away |

Nice idea. Has an almost Cartier-Bresson feeling to it, but seems to be lacking a bit of interest - maybe more blurred people in the foreground would have served to add life into the photo, whilst the clever angle you chose would have shown the isolation of the subject even more. Also, some more contrast might have added more emotion to the pic. |
