| The average human is conditioned very early on in life to react with displeasure or disgust to things such as bodily waste products. So the question is, why would you take a shot of it and stick it into a challenge where you're trying to get a high mark? It doesn't follow. |

| This is a mediocre photo, at best, in my opinion. The choice of subject matter makes it that much less appealing (I was having a piece of chocolate when voting on this, and you might imagine I lost my appetite pretty quickly). You have to be very careful when working with something like this and find an artistic perspective that communicates an intriguing message. Particularly when working with potentially objectionable subject matter (e.g., something controversial, something gross, or something political), you have to be exceptionally clear in your communication or else you're sure to draw fire from critics and the populous in general. As is, in this case, the message I'm getting is just one of "I couldn't think of anything better to photograph." |

Didn't know where to go with this one; I think that is one dirty secret you should have kept to yourself. Neither the subject matter (lacks imagination) nor the execution (lacks focus) did much for me.
Perhaps you should work on using a little more "symbolism" in your photos. |

ummm - i undertand the meaning, and have changed plenty of them before... just not an appealing image while eating lunch & voting.
Technically, the composition isn't bad but it is (thankfully) underexposed. |
