I think the SC would have had a good time investigating the original of this one, its a bit tightly cropped as this is from a nude session:)

Oh well thanks for all the comments and favs, it actually did better then I thought it would!

I think you took a chance and it paid off. Look at the eye. Superior. Great tone/lighting with that high upper right, bright white to the opposite corner almost black. All done, I'm sure by design. This will end up finishing very high. Great job. Thanks for this one.

I think this is a fascinating shot and with a bit more work could be really very strong, almost iconic. I would like to see the headware toned down a bit, and the camera illuminated a bit more. Her camera also needs to be alittle lower and more vertical if she is pretending to use it.

This is the only photo I rated a 10. To me this is B&W portaiture at it's very best! Great lighting, very nice composition, classic looking model, wonderfull attention to detail such as make-up and earrings. The scarf completes the whole look. Excellent job, hope you get a blue ribbon, you certainly deserve it!

Really like the concept here and it's mostly well executed. However, this seems like a composition that would benefit from a greater DOF so that the camera was also in focus all the way to the tip/edge of the lens ... though the sharply focussed eye does continue to draw you in. Well done.

Looks like a commercial shoot! There's a very high quality feel to this. Love the sharp focus on her eye and the b&w treatment overall. I do wish the camera was light up just a little bit more. But still very high quality.
