how did you make this lighting? it's excellent!
I really like his expression, it's not a sad photograph! despite the pessimistic title and I love it. that smile on the man's face gives this title another meaning, something more optimistic, like somehting young is laughing at something old. really really great! and congrats on your PB! :) |

Thanks everyone for your comments and your votes - definately a PB for me, which is fun. As usual, I'm inspired by all the great work fellow DPs are doing, and the best thing is I get to click off some goals I set for 2007 and set some new ones.
Congrats to the top three, and to everyone that entered the challenge, which of course is what it's really all about.

| I think contextually he looks too clean and tidy for the title. The idea is sound, and the background,lighting etc are good. |

| I think you should have submitted for the B+W Portrait...this is a terrific portrait...I don't see how it fits with the title though. Great clarity,composition and location. |
