Great job, you can see the life in this portrait. Somehow I think he's probably a redhead. Nice job. |

Nice capture of general youthful happiness. Looks like you hit just the right focal point as his eyes and mouth are well focused, the nose is just a bit soft. Good lighting and blurring out of the background. Overall, well done. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

The expression is great. However, there is something funky going on with this young man's hair on the top middle of this head. The sides are sharp and contain detail but midway up his forehead upward contains little detail and is blurred. It's a distracting element in an otherwise good photo. |

Too "full on". Nice eyes, but try a little angle. |

I get the strong impression that the original picture is blurred and you tried to save it using PS. My impression may be wrong, but a photo that leaves that impression is not a good photo. |

Right ear is blurry... What happened to the top of the hair? |

this one seems almost too processed - the eyes don't seem real |

The eyes are to sharp while the hair is out of focus. Looks like you got carried away with the blur. |

It's a timeless expression on the subject's face, but the lighting on the features makes this look slightly overexposed. I might try lightly burning the cheeks and chin regions to bring out those freckles, too. |

What did you do to his hair? It looks very wrong - perhaps oversharpened? |

Good pic. Very fun. Wish his hair on top was all in focus |

this is a nice shot, but the flat lighting on the face takes away from it. having the light come from an angle, even a slight one, would help a lot. |
