I've just stumbled upon this, some 8 years late. What a wonderful, emotive, interesting portrait. I love it. |

I don't care what others might say, I REALLY like this and wanted to let you know so before the contest ends. It's the anti-portrait, portrait and for me it works well. I'll be interested to see how others viewed this. I don't care... I like it. Good job. |

This is one of my favorites in the challenge. I like how you captured that old school feeling - just a really classic look. 9 |

If this really is a recent photo, then this is a great job of antiquing. It looks like some of my family shots taken in the 20's and 30's and even earlier. |

I'm not sure of the noise in the image is intentional, but it's not working for me (it looks like a scan of an old/worn image). But what really hurts the image for me is that the eyes fade into black. |

I get the effect you were going for......sort of "old photo" look......but, it looks like you snapped a shot of an old photo. |

too much post-processing for my taste, lacks of detail |

Were you going for an old looking picture? I'd like to see more of his eyes and more sharpness. |

did you take a picture of a picture? It looks like it, but maybe you did do all this in photoshop. I am not going to vote on this one since I am not sure what you did here. |

Effect way over done, takes away from the composition. |

I like this shot, simply for it's emotional impact (which is the most important thing in a photograph)! 9! |

I would have liked a little more light on the eyes, but I like the feeling and the concept! |
