Hi Danielle,

Lovely shot - the perspective works well. The real strength here is the calm of the women with the lines leading to the hand and face. What muckpond said - the motion blur really draws the eye in, and then doesn't give the viewer anythign to be interested in. I think you have struggled with the colour depth with the bright guitar and dark face - difficult to make a balanced exposure on that range.

this has great perspective, but the hand in the foreground is too prominent. and the motion blur ruins the calm of the shot.

It's nice but it is not clear who or what is your main subject. The guitar is nicely lit but her is too dark, the harsh light in her hand is a bit distracting.

As a "portrait", I think it needs more light on the face instead of the hand. Great idea.

...a great look and original idea...a little more light on her face would give it more interest and detail.

Too much of the guitar and the hand in my opinion

People (including me) look to the brightest part of a photo.. it is natural. Here you see that that leads to the hand and not her face. I really do like your idea of letting the guitar leading you up to the face, but light should support this and not work against it in my opinion. vote=5

The big hand hanging there out of focus is a distraction for an otherwise beautiful shot.

a shot of just the hand on the strings would have worked really well here..
