I don't wear pyjamas, and you only wear the bottoms (I'm glad, for one).

Nothing like relazing in bed. Great picture! A little too much light on your face but no biggie. |

Gotta go with Wildcard on this. My first thought was - you shoulda stared into the old lens. Specially if you're competing with Louis for "studmeister". Not going there, myself. The rest you've already heard. I think it's a good shot. |

Love the dalmatian PJ's! They look soft, the textures in this shot are nicely done and I like the pose. I'd like to see you looking at the camera, it's just... it has that "honey I'm watching the game so I'm ignoring you " look about it. Looking at the camera might change the whole mood of the shot. Very nice.

Maybe a white sheet in front of the light source to diffuse/distribute more evenly? Good job though, Mike! ...and NO, I don't like your PJs. :P |

I like the pose and POV. Not crazy about the lighting - it's a tad strong on your face & pillow. However, good job thinking outside the box. :-) |

Nice one mike, it looks like it is the light that is directly to your left that is too bright, but I think Louis gave good advice on how to fix that. The composition is alittle tight but works to bring us in closer to your environment. sweet Pj's, but they are no match for my ninja boxers! ha! |

Mike, hairy nipples just don't do it for me - sorry ;)
Laid-back is good, and the location gives a tiny bit more insight about you. The repeating pattern of the PJ's reduces how obvious your crotch is (THANK GOD!!!)
all pervy jokes aside... its actually an interesting shot; even if you DO look stoned! |

I like the PJs, I'm still envious you have lights, and I'm really wondering if you can convince Louis to do a shot in his PJs with axes and "Timber!" on them. Can you work that for me? And for one of yours, set yourself up like one of Louis' dark and moody portraits and play with that. I think you'd look great like that. |

Nice casual pose! Good color, too. Love the PJs!! I'm on the same band wagon w/the light on face and the rectangle in the right corner. Nice job! |

TWO strobes? Who are you, again? Isn't this the guy who was balancing a single lamp on chair in the last go-round?
You might be able to rescue your face with some brightness/contrast adjustments. I'd also clone out the white rectangle in the upper right. |

I shot this in total darkness with the strobes. Yes, I forgot to put my umbrellas on. Thanks for pointing that out, Louis. I just remembered that.
I also had one strobe directly to my left and one 45 degrees to my left, with the on-camera flash directly in front of me.
Aside from the face (which is the worst part of any of my photos) I think the rest of it came out very well. Colors are right on par, exposure is pretty good.

Yeah, funky PJs. I have axes with the words "TIMBER!!" on mine. (No idea what it means.) Is it natural light? I don't think so because your pupil looks very pre-flash dilated. Can you modify your light, that is, add a softbox or shoot-through umbrella, or bounce umbrella? That will soften the light and the shadow edges, and prevent this kind of blowing out, while still adding interesting contours to your face. If you don't have light modifiers, you should probably get something. |

Dalmation PJ's are cute! I think the shadow might be from the sun? Is there a window on that side? A sheer curtain might help. Nice crispness. |
