I think I now have shots in all 4 seasons of the mill house. Now, I just want to find them and make a collage thingy.
It had snowed the day before, but today had a beautiful blue sky. I really wanted that deepened, so I used a circular polarizer.
In RAW -- adjusted exposure, saturation, sharpness, and white balance
In Paint Shop -- "soft light" on the building to bring out a bit more detail. Then, I played with the saturation *a little.* But, that made my snow even bluer. :( (in the sunshine, the snow was white, in the shade, it was blue -- reflecting sky, maybe?), so I "desaturated" the blue snow.
I like the blueness of it because it makes it feel almost as cool as it was out there. brrrrr.
stupid tree limbs -- they really oughta trim that
This has been submitted/unsubmitted/submitted two or three times now. I had a hard time deciding between the soft focus and regular one. So, whichever one you are looking at is the one I went with, and probably the wrong one. :( |

| this is a pretty shot but nothing really catches my eye, i dont dislike it at all its just that... it doesnt do anything special for me, but all around nice shot |
