 I wetted the basketball with water to bring out a deep saturated color and to have some water trail effect; then had my son bounce it to a constant rhythm; after that I bent my back and followed the rebound beat, with my neck and head, up and down, until I felt I had a sync with the bounce; finally, I started taking shots as I rocked. As apparent by the highlight, on the wet ball, caused by the sun, the shot was taken in the afternoon in broad daylight under direct sunlight.

Sharpened slight contrast and color adjustment… cropped and resized

I may be wrong, but I would call this a motion tilt, I'm no expert though, so I give you the bennefit of the dought with my score.

Great photo. Really different to a lot of the other photo's in the challenge. The colour and centralization (is that even a word???..you know what I mean) of the ball really pops out at you.

Really nice job of tracking and additional effects (water splash). Centered composition leaves this image lacking slightly as there is a minor question of what direction the ball is going in. Without the splash, this would be very bad. Would like to see a crop where the ball is slightly lower in the frame.
