 I ended up using a close-up shot of the scene I set of for my still life, which was a romantic scene with a vase of roses, wine, and victoria secret catalogue. Eventually I concluded that it was too busy so I moved in closer on what I thought were the important aspects of the mood. This is the result. I'm afraid I'm going to get a pretty low score on this one because people won't consider it still-life because of the woman. She's very very still, I assure you. She is my magazine lover, made of paper; I lay the petals of dead roses upon her soft pages. Prediction, 5.3

Wow this picture is great! But can there be a photo of a human beiing in still life? Is it a photo of a magazine cover or a photo of a photo? Cool pic!

An exceptional image. The only flaws are slight pixelation in the hair in the bottom right and the white area in the upper left. But still, this is one of the best of this challenge.

a picture of a person is not a still life. all the same, this is a gorgeous photo.

I assume that is a cover of a magazine and the picture of the girls is not yours ? Good combination of the warm colors with the rose petals, although not very recognisable.

I know she's sitting still, but I'm not sure I'd classify this as a still life photo.

I like the light and the composition. The pedals blend real nicely with the cover. My question is, are people going to complain about there being a person in this image even though it is a cover.
