So I went overboard on the editing yet again. I think I went for 2 different ideas at the same time and it's too much. I saw these photos where the person was wearing the same clothing as the background so I went that route after I thought the book thing alone was boring.

Now I dont' even like it but I put so much work into it I couldn't bare not using it. LOL. Maybe I'll try it again another day with different circumstances.

The juggling set is actually for a psych class of mine (2 actually, I have the same prof twice) in case anyone thinks that's odd. Might not make sense unless you know that but it cracked me up that I need those for school so I added them to the top. I actually will prob have much more books than that for this semester but they haven't all come int he mail yet so I added some from last.

SO... the background I basically did by hand. There IS an easier way (making a pattern in photoshop) but I didn't feel like doing that and kinda forgot how so... I got a cherry image off google. Made it the right sixe and made about 5 in the different colors. Then I copy and pasted that around rotating as neccessary. :)

I like how you blend into the wallpaper, lol. The expression is perfect. Makes me think you are bored with the task of studies and yet, you are not a boring person, but not a standout either. Color vs. the b&W. And you blending into the background. Very well done!

Love your Processing here, fantastic idea, I even like the books. Would have like a bit of space between the books and the border though, to give more of the illusion that they are floating. Very cool!

I have never seen those books and have no idea what they are for, but I can juggle. :)

I love the matching patterns for the shirt and wall, that's a great idea. I like the book idea as well but the black and white doesn't go with this image, I can see it working with a really funky black and white set up though, maybe balancing them on a finger or something...I don't know I'm just thinking as I type.

The man probably mistook his wife for a hat because the hat was on the hatstand in the hall, and was the same pattern as his wife's coat and the wallpaper in the hall.
I like the idea of the matching patterns, not so keen on the floating-ness of the books.

You must explain how you did the background to match your shirt - that's a very nifty trick! Looks like you've got your work cut out for you at school, too. I like the shot - glad you posted it.

Those are great effects. It looks like you are in a dentist's office or something. LOL! So, how do you like the "Lolita in Tehran" memoirs?

I like the idea of matching shirt & wall - and you did a terrific job in the editing on it! The book concept is good as well, but maybe don't use levitating books. :) Hang in there, I love seeing your shots.
