| Very creative! Great for "almost still life" because of the ants. Could be a little more in focus. This would have been perfect for Shadows II. 8 |

| Great touch to have the ants in the picture. My main comments would just be that I think there needs to be more space between the bottom edge of the cherry and the frame. Also the ant at the bottom is merging into the shadow of the cherry which I'm not so keen on as the ones off on their own to the left. Very dynamic image though, especially with the use of just black red and white. |

| I LOVE THIS PICTURE. Very good use of color--way to shrug off the humility and go bold! You are obviously unafraid to take chances in your photography, and for that you should be compensated. Where in the world did you come up with the idea for this?? I love it. |

| What marvelously beautiful shot! I love the intricate detail, lighting, composition, and colors. Very dynamic! What I find most amazing is the marvelous detail of the ants and especially their shadows, nicely done. One of my hihgest scored, good luck, hope to see this ribbon personally! |

| The light is too harsh, it washes out the ants and blurs the edge of the cherry. Otherwise a great shot! |

| love the simplicity of this shot...the bright red against the white and the shadow is great too...and the ants just add that extra touch to really make this shot stand out...The only thing I would change is the border...I think this photo would work better without it..otherwise a perfect shot...9. |
