Like the lines. How the top line runs with the horizon and the
feeling of the clouds pressing in.
Mostly the tracks in the snow ;)

I love this shot. You transported me there. I do agree that a bit of a crop on the top (maybe just at the upper edge of the dark area in the middle of the sky?) would make this a more dynamic job and drag my eye down the pier to the turn and make it more ominous too. Just use your scroll bar on the right to put about the top eighth of the photo off the top of the screen to see what I mean. The top bright patch doesn't pull your eye away from the pier then and puts the turn in the pier bang on the rule of thirds. Most do not like the picture chopped almost exactly in half by the horizon (which is considered a photographic "no-no"). |

Very nice perspective and lines in this. I'd love to tell you how to make the sky a bit less grainy-ish near the bottom but I've yet to figure that out myself. I like the overall gray, wintery feeling this imparts. |

Nice tones and composition, but IMNSHO you might crop off some of the top. I think it would make the composition more powerful, but that's just me. Good job. |
