 On All Saints' Day, a candle for those whose grave is not known (or not found) can be lit at the central cross of the cemetery. Hundreds of thousands are being lit there by midnight, forming a broad fascinating carpet.

very nice work. Even many will say this is not still life, should understand that this is state of the soul and esspecially emotions of those that are on the graveyard full of memories of those they lost

An interesting subject but IMO there needs to be some point of focus but 7 all the same.

Yes it is, a carpet of light. I hope you didn't set this up just for the shot! LOL! I like the unique approach to the challenge but the shot is wanting. There is not focal point, nothing to really draw me in and keep me here. I find myself wandering and wandering and losing interest trying to figure out just what I was looking for. The focus is off and despite the number of lights in the shot it still seems a bit dark. A 4

I like the idea, but the eye doesn't seem to have anyplace to rest. There doesn't seem to be any flow... I wasn't drawn into the shot, just thrown there.

Wow! A LOT of candles! Its beautiful, should have used a tripod to get them all in sharp focus
